What is a registered dietitian
A Registered Dietitian is what?
Every Dietitian is a Nutritionist, but not every Nutritionist is a Dietitian, Makes sense? Everyone is different, from genes, to medical history, to gender, to age. Every case is different. Which is why it's important to trust a Registered dietitian, as we are the nutrition experts. What makes us different? Registered Dietitians go to school for 5 to 7 years, and must complete a 1 year internship in many settings including hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics, etc. Once we complete that 1 year training, we must take board exam to become registered. From a broad range of medical conditions to labs, to weight loss, we study all angles of nutrition and biology by reviewing and staying up to date to evidenced based nutrition research.
